Hi, I’m Malik—a multidisciplinary designer with over 18 years of experience in UX and product design. I’m currently freelancing for small businesses, but my career spans designing financial tools, HR applications, consumer mobile apps, design systems, responsive redesigns, and more. From small startups to industry leaders like PayPal and Salesforce, I’ve tackled a variety of challenges across industries.

I’m deeply passionate about interaction design, user empathy, and leveraging technology to create more immersive and impactful user experiences. My knack for blending design and engineering allows me to bridge the gap between creativity and technical execution, bringing innovative ideas to life. With a background in visual studies from UPenn, I bring a strong focus on craft, design vision, and solving complex problems while keeping the user at the center of every decision.

My journey began in graphic and web design before joining QVC in 2011. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to work with diverse teams and talented individuals, gaining insights into both user behavior and organizational needs. Cultivating a positive, strengths-focused work environment is something I value deeply, and I believe it leads to more fulfilling and impactful outcomes.

When I’m not designing, I immerse myself in music, exploring nature, trying out delicious recipes, and spending time with family. Whether at work or in life, I’m drawn to opportunities that connect people, foster creativity, and make a meaningful impact.
